Accelerate Language Acquisition + Elevate Academic Outcomes
Practical, research-based tools to ensure every Dual Language Learner (DLL) thrives. Developed by NIEER at Rutgers, delivered nationwide via TORSH.

Most districts already know this is coming.
The number of Dual Language Learners is growing fast — the real question is: are your classrooms set up to support them?
Here’s where things start to break down. DLL students are often held to the same benchmarks — without the same access to language development. That gap doesn’t fix itself.
And even when schools know what’s needed There usually isn’t enough specialized staff to support every classroom. So the responsibility falls on everyone — ready or not.
When you focus on teacher–child interaction, you start to see real change. SESEBA helps educators improve what’s happening in the classroom–and gives leaders dashboards and insight into what’s actually working across schools.
